About – Michael F. Barrett

Michael F. Barrett grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Fairdale University with a B.A. in English. He served as a Detective with the Westport Police Department for twenty-three years, where he became one of the top suspect composite-artists in the state. After retirement he opened a Private Investigations firm that he currently owns and operates as a licensed P.I. Since the age of eight, he has painted oil portraits, and does them on a commission basis. He is a member of the Portrait Society of America. He is also a professional jazz musician who plays saxophone and flute.
